Uniform treatment of Darboux's method and the Heisenberg polynomials (English)
0 references
It is shown that the set of Heisenberg polynomials furnishes a simple non-trivial example in the uniform treatment of Darboux's method. The study of Heisenberg polynomials is traced back to the investigation of the harmonic polynomials on the Heisenberg group. The applications to asymptotic zeros confluent hypergeometric functions and Bessel functions are given.
