A substitution theorem for the Borcherds-Weyl semigroup (Q309755)

Let \(\mathfrak g\) be a Borcherds-Kac-Moody algebra, constructed in [\textit{R. Borcherds}, J. Algebra 115, No. 2, 501--512 (1988; Zbl 0644.17010)]. The authors prove a technical result about Bruhat sequences associated with \(\mathfrak g\). This result is related to previous work of the authors [Adv. Math. 221, No. 6, 2019--2058 (2009; Zbl 1194.17006)] on the Littelmann path model.
