The automorphisms of \(\mathbb C^{n}\) are the biholomorphic maps from \(\mathbb C^{n}\) onto \(\mathbb C^{n}\). They form a group under composition. In general, it is denoted by \(\mathrm{Aut\,}(\mathbb C^{n})\). When \(n=1\), this group is quite easy to describe: its elements are the functions that send \(z\) to \(az+b\), with \(a,b \in \mathbb C\) and \(a\neq 0)\). But \(\mathrm{Aut\,}\mathbb C^{n}\) is a huge and complicated group for \(n>1\). In the same way as in case \(n=1\), it would be interesting to describe the elements of \(\mathrm{Aut\,}\mathbb C^{n}\) for \(n\geq 2\). In the paper under review, the author gives a classification of the transcendental automorphisms of \(\mathbb C^{2}\) of the form \( (x,y)\to(Pe^{Q},Re^{S})\) with \(P,Q,R,S \in \mathbb C[x,y]\). This is done studying two complete vector fields associated to the automorphisms. These vector fields are not polynomial, they have the form of a transcendental function multiplied by a polynomial vector field. In general, they are not complete, and therefore not in \textit{M. Brunella}'s classification [Topology 43, No. 2, 433--445 (2004; Zbl 1047.32015)]. Fully and clearly expressed, the author determines the transcendental function that multiplies the polynomial vector field, using \textit{M. Brunella}'s work [ibid. 37, No. 6, 1229--1246 (1998; Zbl 0952.32020)] and some ideas contained in [\textit{A. Bustinduy}, Int. J. Math. 21, No. 3, 333--347 (2010; Zbl 1204.32012)].
