The authors give a generalization of the spherical cosine and sine transforms, defined as integrals over the sphere with respect to a measure, to an \(L_p\) cosine transform on Grassmann manifolds obtained by integrating with respect to a measure on the Grassmann manifold. These new transforms give rise to a new class of convex bodies. If the measure used to define the \(L_p\) cosine transform is not concentrated on a great sub-Grassmannian, then the transform induces a Banach norm with unit ball the polar of the associated convex body. For an isotropic measure on a Grassmannian, isoperimetric and reversed isoperimetric inequalities for the associated convex body and its polar are obtained. Equality cases are given for some Grassmannians (if the dimension of the subspaces divides the dimension of the ambient space). The extremal bodies are a new class of convex bodies that are extensions of the \(l^n_p\)-ball on Grassmann manifolds. These are defined using new cross measures on Grassmann manifolds. For the proof of the inequalities, the authors first prove a Grassmann Ball-Barthe inequality for isotropic measures.
