Basic relations, which are known for functions in the Bernstein space \(B^2_\sigma\), are extended to larger spaces by adding a remainder term. The authors introduce a new modulation space \(M^{2,1}_a (R)\). Inclusion relations between \(M^{2,1}_a (R)\) and the classical Lipschitz and Sobolev spaces are established. An appropriate metric is introduced in order to estimate remainders and study the rates of convergence.
