This paper is a sequel of another previous paper of the same author [Nagoya Math. J. 214, 79--94 (2014; Zbl 1319.14049)]. Here, the results are extended and transferred to Kummer varieties. Let \(X\) be a regular smooth projective surface over the complex numbers with a polarisation \(H\in \mathrm{NS}(X)\). Let \(X^{[n]}\) denote the Hilbert scheme of points of \(X\) (which is birrational to \(\text{Sym}^n X\)). For a sheaf \(\mathcal{F}\) on \(X\), the author defines \(\mathcal{F}^{[n]}\) the \textit{shape tautological sheaf associated to }\(\mathcal{F}\) as a ``lift'' of the sheaf on \(X^{[n]}\). By computing their classes, Wandel obtains the slope \(\mu_{H_N}(\mathcal{F}^{[n]})\) in terms of the first Chern class of \(\mathcal{F}\). This lets him to determine his first main result: when the reflexive hull \(\mathcal{F}^{\vee\vee}\not\cong \mathcal{O}_X\), the \(\mathcal{F}^{[n]}\) does not contain \(\mu_{H_N}\)-desestabilising subsheaf of rank one for all \(N\gg 0\). This result is applied to the case of Kummer varieties. Now, for \(A\) an abelian surface, let \(\text{Km}(A)\) denotes the associated Kummer surface. Analogously, Wandel defines the tautological sheaf \(\mathcal{F}^{\text{Km}}\) as the \textit{shape correct} ``lift'' of \(\mathcal{F}\) to the Kummer variety. Its relation with \(\mathcal{F}^{[2]}\) lets him to transfer an analogous version of the main result for \(\mathcal{F}^{\text{Km}}\): if \(\mathcal{F}\) is of rank one or two, \(\mathcal{F}^{\text{Km}}\) is \(\mu_{H_N}\)-stable for \(N\) sufficiently large. The next subsection deals with the generalized Kummer varieties of dimension four. Now, the tautological bundle \(\mathcal{F}^{K_3}\) is related to \(\mathcal{F}^{[3]}\) and an analogous result is proved for these sheaves. Finally, some notes about deformations of tautological sheaves are achieved. In particular, he proves that \(\mathcal{F}^{[2]}\) is a singular point in the moduli space. A short comment about deformations of \(X^{[n]}\) concludes this paper.
