In this paper \(G\) denotes a finite group and \(\mathcal N\) the class of nilpotent groups. -- A subgroup \(U\) of \(G\) is called an \(\mathcal N\)-injector of \(G\) if \(U\cap S\) is a maximal nilpotent subgroup of \(S\) for every subnormal subgroup \(S\) of \(G\). \textit{B. Fischer, W. Gaschütz} and \textit{B. Hartley} [Math. Z. 102, 337-339 (1967; Zbl 0183.02902)] proved that if \(G\) is solvable, then \(\mathcal N\)-injectors exist and are conjugated. \textit{A. Mann} [Isr. J. Math. 9, 554-558 (1971; Zbl 0228.20005)] extended the above mentioned result to \(\mathcal N\)-constrained groups, that is to groups \(G\) such that \(C_G(F(G))\leq F(G),\) where \(F(G)\) denotes the Fitting subgroup of \(G\). \textit{P. Förster} [Bull. Aust. Math. Soc. 32, 293-297 (1985; Zbl 0573.20021)] and \textit{M. J. Iranzo} and \textit{F. Pérez Monasor} [Isr. J. Math. 56, 97-101 (1986; Zbl 0611.20010)] proved that \(\mathcal N\)-injectors exist in all finite groups, but in general are not conjugate. \textit{A. Bialostocki} introduced the concept of \(B\mathcal N\)-injector [Isr. J. Math. 41, 261-273 (1982; Zbl 0492.20003)]. A subgroup \(U\) of \(G\) is called a \(B\mathcal N\)-injector of \(G\) if \(U\) is a maximal nilpotent subgroup of \(G\) and contains an element of \(\mathcal A_2(G)\), where \(\mathcal A_2(G)\) is the set of all nilpotent subgroups of \(G\) of class at most two of maximal order. \textit{A. Neumann} [Arch. Math. 71, No. 5, 337-340 (1998; Zbl 0936.20013)] proved that \(B\mathcal N\)-injectors are \(\mathcal N\)-injectors. The definition assures that any group \(G\) contains \(B\mathcal N\)-injectors and Bialostocki conjectured that the \(B\mathcal N\)-injectors of \(G\) are conjugate in any group. However an unpublished counterexample of Flavell shows that the conjecture of Bialostocki is not always true. The main aim of this paper is to show that conjugacy of \(B\mathcal N\)-injectors is controlled inside of the generalized Fitting subgroup \(F^*(G)\). This is a consequence of the main theorem of this paper: Theorem: If \(B\) is \(B\mathcal N\)-injector of \(G\), then \(N_G(B\cap F^*(G))\) is \(\mathcal N\)-constrained.
