Generalized complex structures and Lie brackets (Q420558)

This paper studies the generalized complex structures, introduced by N. Hitchin in 2003. Let us recall that these structures were developed in order to make a link between symplectic geometry and complex geometry. In this work, the author succeeds in making the concept of generalized complex structures more explicit. He first defines the structures in terms of tensors. Then, the generalized holomorphic maps are introduced. The main results of the paper are obtained with the aim of describing the global structure behind generalized complex structures. Finally, the author gives some remarks concerning Poisson and Dirac geometry. Eventually, the question is to find the relationship between this work and the Weinstein's integration of complex Lie algebroids.
