As stated in the title of the paper, all exceptional Dehn surgeries on the minimally twisted five-chain link are determined. This link appears several times in the study of Dehn surgery. Its link exterior is conjectured to be the \(5\)-cusped hyperbolic manifold with smallest volume. Also, Dehn fillings on the manifold yield various interesting manifolds. The link belongs to a series of remarkable links; the figure-eight knot, the Whitehead link, the \(3\)-component chain link and the \(4\)-component link \(8_2^4\) in Rolfsen's notation. Let \(M_i\) be the exteriors of these links. Thus \(M_5\) is the exterior of the minimally twisted five-chain link, and \(M_3\) is the famous magic manifold. Exceptional Dehn fillings on \(M_1\) were determined by Thurston. For \(M_2\) and \(M_3\), \textit{B. Martelli} and \textit{C. Petronio} [Commun. Anal. Geom. 14, No. 5, 969--1026 (2006; Zbl 1118.57018)] determined them. In the present paper, all exceptional Dehn fillings are determined for \(M_4\) and \(M_5\). Thanks to a large symmetry group, the information describing all exceptional fillings on \(M_4\) and \(M_5\) is very short. For example, only seven exceptional fillings on \(M_5\) are responsible for all the other ones. The argument is computer-assisted but rigorous. The authors used two different python codes which are publicly available, and they are based on the SnapPy libraries and the HIKMOT library. The time for computation is also very short. The tables and descriptions of the resulting non-hyperbolic manifolds will be useful sources.
