Let \((X,o)\) be the germ of a complex analytic space and let \(f\) and \(g\) be the germs of holomorphic functions on \((X,o)\) vanishing at \(o\) such that they have no common irreducible components and that the real analytic map-germ \(f\bar g\) has an isolated critical value at \(o\). In the case that \(X\) is two-dimensional, \textit{A. Pichon} and \textit{J. Seade} [Math. Ann. 342, No. 3, 487--514 (2008; Zbl 1169.32006)] proved that the germ \(f\bar g\) has a Milnor fibration. However this result cannot be extended to higher dimensional case (see [\textit{A. Pichon} and \textit{J. Seade}, J. Singul. 7, 21--22 (2013; Zbl 1292.32021)]). In the paper under review, the authors study the case where \(X\) is three-dimensional. They give a necessary and sufficient condition for the germ \(f\bar g\) to have a Milnor fibration and prove that in this case the boundary of its Milnor fibre is a Waldhausen manifold. Moreover the authors provide an A'Campo type formula for the zeta function of the monodromy of the germ \(f\bar g\) when \((X,o)=(\mathbb C^2,o)\) in terms of the combinatorics of the resolution of the holomorphic function \(fg\).
