This paper deals with piecewise smooth vector fields, considering solutions in the sense of Filippov. In particular, the dynamics near (planar, bidimensional) two-folds are considered. The importance of two-folds in piecewise smooth differential equations is due to the facts that a lot of orbits reach the two-folds, but the forward evolution after the two-fold is ambiguous. The author is interested in physically motivated perturbations near two-folds, so he considers three types of perturbation: hysteresis, time-delay and noise. In these cases, there are no ambiguity for the future-time orbits after the two-fold. For each of these cases, the author presents stability results, together with some numerical examples.
