Sharp geometric and functional inequalities in metric measure spaces with lower Ricci curvature bounds (Q511621)

The main purpose of this paper is to extend several functional inequalities working for Riemannian manifolds satisfying a lower bound on the Ricci curvature to the general case of metric measure spaces that fulfill the reduced curvature-dimension condition. The authors establish new versions of the Brunn-Minkowski inequality, the \(p\)-Poincaré inequality, the log-Sobolev inequality, the Talagrand inequality, and the Sobolev inequality. The proofs combine powerful analytic and variational arguments.
