The paper deals with minimal solutions of the Allen-Cahn equation \[ \Delta_g(x)-V'(x_g)=0 \] for all \(g\) belonging to a Gromov-hyperbolic graph \(G.\) Here \(\Delta_g\) is the discrete Laplace operator given by \[ \Delta_g(x)=\sum_{d(\tilde{g},g)=1} (x_{\tilde{g}}-x_g) \] for each function \(x: G\to\mathbb{R}\) with the geodesic distance \(d(\tilde{g},g)\) over \(G,\) and \(V: \mathbb{R}\to \mathbb{R}\) is a \(C^2\) double-well potential. Under suitable natural conditions on the graph, the author shows existence of non-constant uniformly-bounded minimal solutions with prescribed asymptotic behaviours. For a phase field model on a hyperbolic graph, such solutions describe energy-minimising steady-state phase transitions that converge towards prescribed phases given by the asymptotic directions on the graph. The techniques of the proofs rely on energy estimates, isoperimetric inequalities and the geometric properties of the boundaries of cones combined with suitable variational tools.
