Let \(I_p(n)\) be the collection of all \(n\)-dimensional Banach spaces that embed into the space \(L_p\). The definition of \(I_p(n)\) was extended to the case of negative \(p\) by \textit{A.~Koldobsky} [Can. Math. Bull. 42, No.~3, 344--353 (1999; Zbl 0948.60004)] in relation to the study of stable processes. Known results suggest that \(I_p(n)\) is strictly decreasing as a function of \(p\) for \(2>p>3-n\), and contains all \(n\)-dimensional spaces for smaller \(p\) (see e. g. subsequent papers of A.~Koldobsky, \textit{E.~Milman} [J. Funct. Anal. 240, No.~2, 530--567 (2006; Zbl 1109.52006)] and \textit{V.~Yaskin} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 136, No.~9, 3281--3291 (2008; Zbl 1149.52005)]). The authors contribute to this study by proving that all \(I_p(n)\) are distinct for \(2>p>3-n\): an element of \(I_p(n) \setminus \bigcup_{q>p} I_q(n)\) is explicitly constructed.
