Let \(\sum a_n\) be a given infinite series with partial sums \(\{s_n\}\). Let \(\{p_n\}\) be a sequence of positive terms such that \(P_n=p_0+p_1+ \cdots+ p_n \to\infty\) as \(n\to\infty\). A series \(\sum a_n\) is said to be summable \(| \overline N,p_n|_k\) if \(\sum(\frac{P_n} {p_n})^{k-1}| t_n-t_{n-1}|^k < \infty\), where \(t_n=P_n^{-1} \sum^n_{\nu=0} p_\nu s_\nu\), \(k\geq 1\) [see \textit{H. Bor}, Math. Proc. Camb. Philos. Soc. 97, 147--149 (1985; Zbl 0554.40008)]. The series \(\sum a_n\) is said to be summable \(| R,p_n|_k\), \(k\geq 1\), if \(\sum^{k-1}_n| t_n-t_{n-1}|^k<\infty\). The authors, in this paper, prove that if \(\{\lambda_n\}\) is a convex sequence such that \(\sum p_n\lambda_n <\infty\), \(np_n=O(P_n)\) and \(\{s_n\}\) is bounded, then the series \(\sum a_n \lambda_nP_n\) is summable \(| R,p_n|_k\), \(k\geq 1\). In view of \(np_n= O(P_n)\) this follows from a result of \textit{H. Bor} [Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 23, No. 10, 703--709 (2000; Zbl 0954.40006)].
