The paper deals with the non-Hamiltonian version of the monodromy theorem. More precisely, it is well known that the energy momentum map of a two degree of freedom integrable Hamiltonian system with a focus-focus singularity has monodromy. Here the authors generalize this result to systems which are not necessarily Hamiltonian.
