This paper is a continuation of a series of papers by the same author on function spaces in fuzzy topology [ibid. 90, No. 3, 341-348 (1997; Zbl 0917.54007); Quaest. Math. 23, No. 2, 203-217 (2000; Zbl 0962.54005); Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 22, No. 4, 727-737 (1999; Zbl 0962.54004); J. Fuzzy Math. 6, No. 4, 929-939 (1998; Zbl 0922.54011); Fuzzy Sets Syst. 109, No. 2, 187-198 (2000; Zbl 0965.54011); ibid. 112, No. 2, 277-285 (2000; Zbl 0965.54010)]. The concept of even continuity of a fuzzy subset of continuous functions between two fuzzy convergence spaces in the sense of Lowen is introduced and its properties systematically investigated in this paper. Particularly, the author shows that the even continuity of crisp subsets of continuous functions for fuzzy neighborhood spaces in the sense of Lowen can be characterized in terms of level structures; and he discusses the relationship between even continuity and equicontinuity (introduced by the author in Fuzzy Sets Syst. 109 [loc. cit.]) of subsets of continuous functions for fuzzy neighborhood spaces and fuzzy uniform spaces in the sense of Lowen.
