Picard groups and strongly graded coalgebras (Q5956882)

Strongly graded coalgebras are studied in relation to the Picard group. A classification result for these coalgebras is proved by using the second Doi cohomology group. Graded coalgebras with strongly graded dual ring are characterized by introducing a new object, the strong Picard group of a coalgebra. The techniques developed produce a solution to a more general problem: if \(H\) is a finite dimensional Hopf algebra, characterize the \(H^*\)-Galois coextensions with the dual extensions being \(H\)-Galois.
