The author has previously studied the set \(\text{Quant}(K)\) of all universal quantization functors of Lie bialgebras over a field \(K\) of characteristic zero compatible with the operations of taking duals and doubles [Sel. Math., New Ser. 7, 321-407 (2001; Zbl 1009.17010)]. He showed that \(\text{Quant}(K)\) is canonically isomorphic to a product \(G_0(K)\times P(K)\), where \(G_0(K)\) is a universal group involving compositions of tensor products of the bracket and cobracket of a Lie bialgebra, and \(P(K)\) is a quotient set of a set \(B(K)\) of families of Lie polynomials by the action of a group \(G(K)\) involving certain associativity equations. In the paper under review, the author proves that \(G_0(K)\) is the multiplicative group \(1+hK[[h]]\), \(h\) a formal variable, which he describes as meaning that \(\text{Quant}(K)\) is ``as close as it can be'' to \(P(K)\). He also proves that the only universal derivations of Lie bialgebras are multiples of the composition of the bracket with the cobracket. Finally, he proves that the stabilizer of any element of \(B(K)\) is reduced to the 1-parameter subgroup generated by the corresponding ``square of the antipode''. The antipode here refers to a Hopf algebra which has the form of a completed tensor algebra \(T(C)[[h]]\), \(C\) a Lie coalgebra.
