This paper deals with pseudo-differential operators with small or minimal regularity conditions imposed on the symbols. The author proves continuity properties for different type of products. He considers modulation spaces and spaces of Schatten-von Neumann symbols where corresponding pseudo-differential operators map one Hilbert space to another. More precisely, Hölder-Young and Young type results for such spaces under dilated convolutions and multiplications are shown. Especially, Hölder and Young type assertions are obtained for the Weyl product, dilated convolution, twisted convolution and dilated multification on the following spaces: Schatten-von Neumann, (weighted) Lebesgue and (weighted) modulation one. It is proved here that \(L^p(\omega)\) with \(1\leq p\leq 2\) is a twisted convolution algebra for an appropriate (submultiplicative) weight \(\omega\). Concerning the applications we mention only that the composition of two Weyl operators corrresponds to the Weyl product of the two operator symbols on the symbol side, and the twisted convolution appears when Weyl product is conjugated by symplectic Fourier transform. Another application is given to the Toeplitz operators.
