Local behaviour of the solutions of the Chipot-Weissler equation (Q6050110)

This article is concerned with qualitative properties of solutions to the elliptic equation \(-\Delta u=u^p-n|\nabla u|^q\) in \(\Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^N\), \(N\geq 1\). Here \(\Omega\) is assumed to be either a puncted domain or the exterior of a ball and \(m>0\), \(\min\{p, q\}>1\). Under various conditions on the exponents, the authors discuss the asymptotic behaviour of positive solutions either at infinity or near the isolated singular point. The approach relies on a wider range of techniques such as Bernstein and Keller-Osserman methodes, Moser iteration, capacitary estimates.
