The paper is well written and sufficient details are provided. It brings a valuable contribution to the existence question for positive scalar curvature (psc) metrics on certain compact singular pseudomanifolds involving Sullivan's \(\mathbb{Z}/k\mathbb{Z}\)-manifolds (as a small category). Let \(M\) be a manifold with fibered \(P\)-singularity, and let \(M_{\Sigma}\) be the singular space associated to \(M\). Here \(P\in\{\mathbb{Z}/k\mathbb{Z},\mathbb{S}^1\}\). The authors mainly deal with the existence of a cylindrical or conical psc-metric on \(M_{\Sigma}\); this can be summarized by Theorems A,B and Remark 3.13. Their results follow from the consistence of the Baum-Connes assembly map with the cofiber sequences of the bordism spectrum \(\mathrm{MSpin}^{P-\mathrm{fb}}\) and the KO-theory spectrum \(\mathrm{KO}^{P-\mathrm{fb}}\).
