This paper shows that Noetherian local rings \(R\) with a finite number of trace ideals are of dimension at most two. Moreover, assuming ring \(R\) is a one-dimensional Cohen-Macaulay complete local ring containing an infinite field as a subring, we provide a necessary condition for the finite number of trace ideals, expressed in terms of the value set derived from the canonical module. Additionally, we establish a correspondence between the trace ideals of \(R\) and those of the endomorphism algebra of the maximal ideal of \(R\) under the condition of minimal multiplicity.
