Let \(V\) be a Fano-Mukai fourfold of genus \(10\), which is a smooth Fano fourfold of index \(2\) and of degree \(18\) defined over \(\mathbb C\). The author and Y. Prokhorov gave a description of the automorphism group \(\mathrm{Aut}(V)\) in their papers [\textit{Y. Prokhorov} and \textit{M. Zaidenberg}, Eur. J. Math. 4, No. 3, 1197--1263 (2018; Zbl 1423.14244)] and [\textit{Y. Prokhorov} and \textit{M. Zaidenberg}, Eur. J. Math. 8, No. 2, 561--572 (2022; Zbl 1489.14055)]. They showed that the identity component \(\mathrm{Aut}^0(V)\) is isomorphic to one of the following: \[ G_m^2, \quad G_a\times G_m, \quad \mathrm{GL}(2,\mathbb C). \] The group \(\mathrm{Aut}^0(V)\) reflects the number of cubic cones, that is, cones over rational twisted cubic curves, in \(V\). If \(\mathrm{Aut}^0(V)\cong G_m^2\), then \(V\) contains \(6\) cubic cones any of which is \(\mathrm{Aut}^0(V)\)-invariant. If \(\mathrm{Aut}^0(V)\cong G_a\times G_m\), then \(V\) contains \(4\) cubic cones and each of them is \(\mathrm{Aut}^0(V)\)-invariant. If \(\mathrm{Aut}^0(V)\cong \mathrm{GL}(2,\mathbb C)\), \(V\) contains two one-parameter families of cubic cones and two \(\mathrm{Aut}^0(V)\)-invariant cubic cones which are disjoint. In fact, it is shown in the latter paper cited above that \(\mathrm{Aut}(V)\) is isomorphic to one of the following: (1) \(G_m^2\rtimes \mathbb Z/6\mathbb Z\), (2) \(G_m^2\rtimes \mathbb Z/2\mathbb Z\), (3) \((G_a\times G_m)\rtimes \mathbb Z/2\mathbb Z\), (4) \(\mathrm{GL}(2,\mathbb C)\rtimes \mathbb Z/2\mathbb Z\). Let \(\tau\) be the generator of the factor \(\mathbb Z/2\mathbb Z\) in the cases (2)--(4), and the element \(\zeta^3\) in the case (1) where \(\zeta\) is a generator of the factor \(\mathbb Z/6\mathbb Z\). The involution \(\tau\) acts on \(V\) by interchanging any pair of disjoint \(\mathrm{Aut}^0(V)\)-invariant cubic cones on \(V\). In the cases (3) and (4), there is only one such pair and in the cases (1) and (2), three such pairs exist [loc. cit.]. By Mukai \(G_2\)-presentation of \(V\) [\textit{S. Mukai}, Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA 86, No. 9, 3000--3002 (1989; Zbl 0679.14020)], the involution \(\tau\) is considered as the order \(2\) element of the center of the Weyl group of the simple algebraic group of type \(G_2\). In this paper, using Mukai realization of \(V\) and the results obtained in the papers cited above, the author describes the fixed point set \(V^\tau\) and the surface scroll swept out by the \(\tau\)-invariant lines. This paper completes the description of the action of the involution \(\tau\) on \(V\).
