Riemannian foliations and geometric quantization (Q6123217)

This article makes a first step towards extending geometric quantization to presymplectic manifolds. Namely, the authors define geometric quantization and prove a ``quantization commutes with reduction'' theorem for presymplectic structures with constant rank, under the assumptions that the null foliation is Riemannian and the closure of the leaf space is compact. They discuss examples related with symplectic toric quasi-folds, isometric actions of discrete groups and K-contact manifolds.
