By using the weak convergece arguemnt, the large deviation principle is established for the stochastic \(p\)-Laplacian equation on a bounded Lipschitz domain with small multiplicative Brownian noise. Moreover, by using the Girsanov transformation and the \(L^1\)-contraction, the quadratic transportation-cost inequality on \(L^2([0,T]; L^1(D))\) is derived for the law of the solution.
