On complete space-like stationary surfaces in 4-dimensional Minkowski space with graphical Gauss image (Q6139853)

The authors consider the value distribution problem for generalized Gauss maps and some related issues. One of the results proved in the paper is as follows: Let \(M\) be a nonflat complete space-like stationary surface in \(\mathbb{R}^{3,1}\), whose Gauss map \((\psi_{1}, \psi_{2})\) satisfies \(\psi_{2} = f(\psi_{1})\) with \(f\) a rational function of degree \(m\). Then the number \(q_{1}\) of exceptional values of \(\psi_{1}\) satisfies \(|E_{f}| \leq q_{1} \leq m - |E_{f}| + 3\), where \(E_{f}\) consists of all solutions of \(f(\omega) = \overline{\omega}\).
