This paper studies the Hardy spaces defined on a space of homogeneous type associated with a non-negative self-adjoint operator \(L\) which is bounded on \(L^{2}\) having a Gaussian upper bound on its kernel. It establishes the boundedness of the corresponding singular integral operators on \(L^{p}\), \(p\in (1,2]\). It also studies the boundedness of the holomorphic functional calculus and the spectral multipliers of the operator \(L\).
