It is known that the minimal non-Kähler compact complex surfaces can be divided according to their Kodaira dimension \(d\) into three classes: minimal non-Kähler properly elliptic surfaces (\(d = 1\)), Kodaira surfaces (\(d= 0\)) and minimal surfaces of class VII (\(d=-\infty\)). The surfaces of class VII with second Betti number equal to zero and with no holomorphic curves are called Inoue-Bombieri surfaces. In the first part of the paper, the authors investigate Gauduchon metrics on Inoue-Bombieri surfaces, proving in particular that a certain natural obstruction for constructing strongly leafwise flat forms vanishes for such metrics. The authors deduce the uniform convergence of the normalized Chern-Ricci flow starting at any Gauduchon metric on all Inoue-Bombieri surfaces. They show that the convergence is smooth with bounded curvature for initial metrics in the \(\partial\bar{\partial}\)-class of the Tricerri/Vaisman metric.
