Sign of the solutions of linear fractional differential equations and some applications (Q6159698)

In this work, author adds several remarks and discussions on results provide in the paper [\textit{N. D. Cong} and \textit{H. T. Tuan}, J. Integral Equations Appl. 29, No. 4, 585--608 (2017; Zbl 1385.34009)]. The results are mosly on existence and uniquness of the solution. Author also establishes Bernoulli's inequality for the fractional case. Moreover, optimality conditions for a fractional variational problem of Herglotz type is derived at the end.
