Maurer-Cartan characterizations and cohomologies of compatible Lie algebras (Q6168221)

In this paper the authors introduce the notion of a bi-differential graded Lie algebra and in this way provide the Maurer-Cartan characterisation of compatible Lie algebras. The authors then define a cohomology theory of compatible Lie algebras and classify infinitesimal deformation and abelian extensions of compatible Lie algebras. Finally, the authors use the Maurer-Cartan approach to classify non-abelian extensions of compatible Lie algebras.
