A continuum is a compact connected nondegenerate metric space. By a hyperspace of a continuum \(X\) we mean a specified collection of subsets of \(X\) endowed with the Hausdorff metric. Given a continuum and integers \(n,m\) such that \(0\leq m <n\), we consider its hyperspaces \begin{eqnarray*} 2^{X}&=&\{A\subseteq X \mid A \textnormal{ is closed and nonempty}\},\\ C_n(X)&=& \{A\in 2^X\colon A \text{ has at most } n \text{ components}\}, \\ \mathcal{F}_{n}(X)&=&\{A\in 2^{X}\mid A \mbox{ has at most \(n\) points}\}. \end{eqnarray*} y and the quotient space \(\mathcal{C}_{n}(X)/\mathcal{F}_{m}(X)\) topologized with the quotient topology. On the other hand, recall that a space \(X\) is \(\frac{1}{n}\)-homogeneous provided that there are exactly \(n\) orbits for the action of the group of homeomorphisms of \(X\) onto itself, in which case we say that the homogeneity degree of \(X\) is \(n\). A number of researchers are interested in the line of research \(\frac{1}{n}\)-homogeneity (see, example [\textit{R. Hernández-Gutiérrez} and \textit{V. Martínez-de-la-Vega}, Topology Appl. 230, 276--282 (2017; Zbl 1377.54036); \textit{S. Macías} and \textit{P. Pellicer-Covarrubias}, Topology Appl. 180, 142--160 (2015; Zbl 1306.54025); \textit{S. B. Nadler jun.} et al., Topology Appl. 154, No. 10, 2154--2166 (2007; Zbl 1144.54022); \textit{A. Santiago-Santos} and \textit{N. T. Tapia-Bonilla}, Topology Appl. 270, Article ID 106956, 20 p. (2020; Zbl 1441.54022)]). The purpose of this paper under review is to provide new results to this field of research. Specifically, the authors discuss lower bounds for the homogeneity degree of the hyperspaces \(\mathcal{C}_{n}(X)\), \(\mathcal{C}_{n}(X)/\mathcal{F}m(X)\), when \(X\) is a finite graph. This article, in my opinion, contains interesting results.
