This paper is concerning some nonlinear partial differential systems which could describe the tumors growth or the behavior of living tissues. In some cases, these models lead to equations similar with those of porous media. Two ``constitutive'' relations for the pressure as function of the population density (which models the number of the ``bad'' cells in a tissue) are considered, which are depending on two parameters \(\gamma\) and \(\epsilon\). The point is to compute the rate of convergence of the solutions of the above systems when \(\epsilon \rightarrow 0\) or \(\gamma \rightarrow \infty\). The authors improve the results of [\textit{D. Alexander} et al., Nonlinearity 27, No. 4, 823--858 (2014; Zbl 1293.35035)] for the porous medium equation including a space-dependent drift. The main result is a new (improved) polynomial rate of convergence in a negative Sobolev norm and the strong topology of Lebesgue spaces. For this, some very interesting estimates are given in Sections 2 and 3. The important mathematical tools are: the solution of a particular Poisson equation, Young's inequality, Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev inequality, log-convex interpolation of \(L_p\)-norms. In Section 5, the authors mention that ``how to assess the accuracy of our estimate remains an open problem''. An useful relation between \(W_2\) and \(\dot{H}^{-1}\) norms is given in the appendix \(\mathbf{A}\), by using the Wasserstein distance.
