Let \(C\) be a pointed sharp Euler coalgebra over a field. The authors study the Coxeter transformation \(\Phi_C\) and its dual \(\Phi_C^-\), between the Grothendieck groups of the categories of socle-finite injective right, respectively left, \(C\)-comodules. The action of \(\Phi_C\) and \(\Phi_C^-\) on a class of indecomposable finitely cogenerated \(C\)-comodules \(N\) is related to the ends of almost split sequences starting with \(N\) or ending at \(N\). It is proved that if \(C\) is pointed such that any vertex of the left Gabriel quiver of \(C\) has finitely many neighbours, then for any indecomposable non-projective finite dimensional left \(C\)-comodule \(N\), there exists a unique almost split sequence \(0\to\tau_CN\to N'\to N\to 0\) in the category of finitely cogenerated left \(C\)-comodules, with an indecomposable comodule \(\tau_CN\). Under certain conditions, it is proved that the dimension vector of the comodule \(\tau_CN\) is the value of \(\Phi_C\) at the dimension vector of \(N\).
