In this paper, the authors at first show that, starting from an ansatz introduced in [\textit{H. Pedersen} et al., Lett. Math. Phys. 50, No. 3, 229--241 (1999; Zbl 0997.53035)], it is possible to explicitly construct an \(S^1\)-invariant complete expanding gradient Kaehler-Ricci soliton on any \(\mathbb C^*\)-bundle over a compact Kaehler Ricci-flat \(2n\)-manifold. The solitons constructed in this way have two ends and they are asymptotically conical at one end and asymptotically complex hyperbolic at the other end. Using this, the authors are able to produce an explicit complete expanding gradient Kaehler-Ricci soliton on each \(\mathbb C^*\)-bundle over a flat torus of the form \(\mathcal H_{2n + 1}/\Lambda \times I\), where \(\mathcal H_{2n+1}\) is the \((2 n +1)\)-dimensional Heisenberg group, \(I = (a, b)\subset \mathbb R\) is an open interval and \(\Lambda\subset \mathcal H_{2n + 1} \) is an appropriate lattice. Such a soliton lifts to a Kaehler-Ricci soliton on the universal cover \(\mathcal{H}_{2n+1}\times I\) that is invariant under the cohomogeneity one action of the Heisenberg group. Bounds for the scalar curvature and the sectional curvatures of these metrics are also established.
