Rational moment problems on the real line are defined in the following way. Let \((\alpha_k)_{k\geq0}\) be a sequence in \(\hat\mathbb R=\mathbb R\cup \{\infty\}\), with \(\alpha_0=\infty\). Let also \(\pi_0=1\), \(\pi_n(z)=\prod_{k=1}^n(1-(\alpha_k)^{-1}z)\,(n\geq1)\) and \(b_n(z)=\pi_n(z)^{-1}z^n \,(n\geq 0)\). Denoting by \(\mathcal L_\infty\) the space generated by \((b_n)_{n\geq0}\) and by \(\mathcal R_\infty\) the space generated by products of functions from \(\mathcal L_\infty\), one may consider Hermitian, positive definite functionals on the latter space. If \(M\) is such a functional, the moment problem means to look for conditions insuring an integral representation of \(M\), via positive measures. The authors study a Nevanlinna-type parametrization related to such a problem and prove results related to the growth at the singularities of the functions in the associated Nevanlinna matrix. In particular, they provide bounds on the growth when the number of singularities is finite.
