Let \(\Sigma\) be a closed oriented surface and \(A\) a formal parameter. The Kauffman skein algebra \(K(\Sigma,A)\) is the free \(\mathbb{Z}[A,A^{-1}]\)-module generated by isotopy classes of banded links in \(\Sigma\times [0,1]\) modulo the skein relations. It turns out that \(K(\Sigma,A)\) is also a free \(\mathbb{Z}[A,A^{-1}]\)-module generated by isotopy classes of multicurves. For any \(u\in \mathbb{C}^*\), define \(K(\Sigma,u)=:K(\Sigma, A)\otimes_{\mathbb{Z}[A,A^{-1}]}\mathbb{C}\) where \(A\) acts on \(\mathbb{C}\) by \(u\). Let \(\mathcal{M}(\Sigma,SU(2))\) be the moduli space of flat connections on the trivial principle bundle \(\Sigma\times SU(2)\to \Sigma.\) It has a natural symplectic structure. Let \(\mathcal{L}\) be a natural prequantum bundle on the smooth part of \(\mathcal{M}(\Sigma,SU(2))\). Given a simple curve \(\gamma,\) let \(F_{\gamma}\) be the function on \(\mathcal{M}(\Sigma,SU(2))\) defined by \(F_{\gamma}(\rho)=\frac 1\pi \arccos \frac12 Tr \rho(\gamma)\). The function \(F_{\gamma}\) generates a 1-periodic Hamiltonian flow. The flow extends to the bundle \(\mathcal{L}\) and is denoted by \(\Phi^t_{\gamma}\). Define an operator \(\mathcal{O}_{\gamma}\) on the sections of \(\mathcal{L}\) as follows. For a section \(s\), let \(\mathcal{O}_{\gamma}s\) be the parallel transport of \(s\) along the flow \(\Phi^t_{\gamma}\) during a time \(\frac12\) plus the same parallel transport during a time \(-\frac12\). The main result in the paper is that the map from \(K(\Sigma,-i)\) to the algebra of operators acting on the sections of the bundle \(\mathcal{L}\) sending \(\gamma\) to \(\mathcal{O}_\gamma\) is an injective morphism of algebras.
