The present paper is devoted to the study of the properties of some spaces. A sufficient condition for a metric (homology) manifold to be a locally bi-Lipschitz equivalent to an open subset in \({\mathbb R}^n\) is given. More precisely, one of the results states necessary and sufficient conditions for an oriented Lipschitz manifold to admit a smooth structure. Another result is the following. Let \(X\subset {\mathbb R}^N\) be a locally Ahlfors \(n\)-regular and locally linearly contractible homology \(n\)-manifold, \(n\geq 2\). If \(X\) admits local Cartan-Whithey presentations in the Sobolev space \(H^{1,2}\), then \(X\) admits local bi-Lipschitz parametrizations by \({\mathbb R}^n\). The consequence of the above result gives conditions for a homology \(n\)-manifold \(X\) to be a manifold (see Corollary 1.3). The results obtained in the paper can be applied to many problems of mathematical analysis and function theory.
