The author proves the following result: Let \(G\) be a finite group and \(H\) be a \(\pi\)-Hall subgroup of \(G\). Assume that \(H\) is supersolvable. If \(H\) controls \(G\)-fusion in \(H\) then \(G\) possesses a normal \(\pi\)-complement. \N\NThis result is not new. It is a corollary of a more general result due to \textit{N. Su} et al. [Bull. Aust. Math. Soc. 98, No. 1, 109--112 (2018; Zbl 1429.20010)]. There, the authors prove the same result for \(H\) having a Sylow tower and being \(2\)-nilpotent, which is certainly true for any supersolvable group.
