The authors consider elliptic hypergeometric integrals on roots systems \(A_n\) and \(C_n\), both admitting exact evaluations, and higher order integrals obeying non-trivial symmetry transforms. After a degeneration of these integrals into hyperbolic hypergeometric integrals, described by infinite contour integrals of combinations of the Faddeev modular quantum dilogarithm, a further degeneration leads to infinite bilateral sums of the Mellin-Barnes type integrals representing complex hypergeometric functions. This is achieved in the spirit of \textit{M. A. Naĭmark}'s work [Tr. Mosk. Mat. O.-va 8, 121--153 (1959; Zbl 0103.33601)]\N of \(3j\)-symbols for the group \(\mathrm{SL}(2, \mathbb C)\), and leads to proofs of conjectures by \textit{S. É. Derkachov} and \textit{A. N. Manashov} [SIGMA, Symmetry Integrability Geom. Methods Appl. 16, Paper 003, 20 p. (2020; Zbl 1436.81043)] on complex analogues of the symmetry transformations of certain multiple Gustafson integrals.
