The current paper is part of a research program initiated by the authors whose goal is to extend the theory of finite-dimensional integrable Hamiltonian systems to contact manifolds. The authors consider a contact manifold with a Jacobi bracket induced by the contact form which allows one to introduce the notion of a contact Hamiltonian system. A contact (integrable) Hamiltonian system can be associated with a homogeneous (integrable) Hamiltonian system defined on an exact symplectic manifold that represents a symplectisation of the initial contact manifold. This correspondence allows one to study compatible Jacobi structures of an integrable contact Hamiltonian system by studying a bi-Hamiltonian homogeneous integrable system. The authors prove that under certain nondegeneracy requirements the eigenvalues of a recursion operator that is related to two compatible Jacobi brackets are not functionally independent, i.e., those can not be used to produce the maximal set of functions in involution.\N\NThe paper will mainly be of interest to experts in integrable systems and differential geometers.\N\NFor the entire collection see [Zbl 08117790].
