The asymptotic behaviour of the Humbert functions \(\Psi_1\) and \(\Psi_2\), and the Appell function \(F_2\) are presented. As a consequence, the authors prove a conjectured limit which appeared in the study of the \(1 D\) Glauber-Ising model, see [\textit{M. Henkel}, ``Finite-size scaling in the ageing dynamics of the $1D$ Glauber-Ising model'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:2501.05912}]. Furthermore, two elementary asymptotic methods are presented to deduce the asymptotics of multiple hypergeometric functions.
