      This paper presents a well-designed and robust domain decomposition preconditioner for \(\mathbf{H(curl})\) problems, especially effective in complex geometries such as domains with holes and heterogeneous coefficients. The authors thoughtfully integrate ideas from auxiliary space methods, spectral coarse spaces, and splitting-based near-kernel techniques, resulting in a novel two-level additive Schwarz algorithm that remains efficient even in challenging topological settings. A particular strength lies in the systematic comparative analysis provided: the new method is tested against several variant preconditioners across a range of geometries, boundary conditions, and coefficient variations. The numerical results clearly demonstrate the robustness and scalability of the proposed approach. Overall, this work meaningfully extends the boundaries of preconditioner design for Maxwell equations.
