A note on projective limits of \(LB\)-spaces (Q689802)

Characterizations of sequentially complete quotients and complemented subspaces of countable products of LB-spaces are given. Moreover, it is proved that if such a quotient has an unconditional basis, then it is isomorphic to a product of LB-spaces [comp. a weaker earlier result: \textit{K. Floret} and \textit{V. B. Moscatelli}, Arch. Math. 47, 129-130 (1986; Zbl 0585.46001)]. The paper is motivated by appearance of the mentioned above types of spaces in the study of the existence of a right continuous linear inverse for a linear partial differential operators with constant coefficients \(P(D): {\mathcal D}'\to {\mathcal D}'\) [see \textit{R. Meise}, \textit{B. A. Taylor} and \textit{D. Vogt}, Ann. Inst. Fourier 40, No. 3, 619-655 (1990; Zbl 0703.46025)].
