The paper deals with the extension of CR functions defined on a non-generic CR submanifold \(N\subset\mathbb C^n\). \(N\) is said to be generic if \(T_pN + iT_pN = \mathbb C^n\). The following result is due to \textit{A. Nagel} [Duke Math. J. 4, 323--348 (1976; Zbl 0343.32016)] and \textit{W. Rudin} [Pac. J. Math. 75, 267--279 (1978; Zbl 0383.32007)]: If \(N\) is a non-generic totally real submanifold of \(\mathbb C^n\) and \(v\in\mathbb C^n\) is complex transversal to \(N\) at \(p\), then for any continuous function \(f\) on a neighbourhood of \(p\) in \(N\) there exists \(\mathcal W_v\), a wedge of direction \(v\) whose edge contains \(N\), such that \(f\) has a holomorphic extension to \(\mathcal W_v\). The paper gives the following generalization for all non-generic CR submanifolds: Let \(N\) be a smooth non-generic CR submanifold of \(\mathbb C^n\), \(p\in N\) and \(U\) a neighbourhood of \(p\) in \(N\). If \(v\in\mathbb C^n\) is complex transversal to \(N\) at \(p\), there exists \(\mathcal W_v\), a wedge of direction \(v\) whose edge contains a neighbourhood \(V\subset U\) of \(p\) in \(N\), such that any continuous CR function on \(U\) extends holomorphically to \(\mathcal W_v\). Partial cases of the above result were obtained by the same author in previous papers [Mich. Math. J. 54, No. 2, 469--477 (2006; Zbl 1128.32022); Mich. Math. J. 60, No. 1, 149--162 (2011; Zbl 1219.32019)].
