The author considers symmetric \(q\)-Dunk-classical orthogonal polynomials.\NThe first two sections of this work provide a clear description of semiclassical orthogonal polynomials and the properties of the Dunkl operator.\NIn the third section of the manuscript, the main result is obtained. The author shows a characterization of symmetric \(T_{\theta,q}\)-classical orthogonal polynomials, where the operator \(T_{\theta,q}\) is given by \N\[\N\begin{aligned} T_{\theta, q}: \mathcal{P} & \longrightarrow \mathcal{P} \\\Nf &\longmapsto T_{\theta, q}(f)=H_q(f)+\theta H_{-1}(f), \quad \theta \in \mathbb{C}, \end{aligned} \N\]\Nwhere \(\mathcal{P}\) is the vector space of polynomials with complex coefficients, \(H_q\) is the \(q\)-difference operator defined by\N\[\N\left(H_q f\right)(x)=\frac{f(q x)-f(x)}{(q-1) x}, \quad f \in \mathcal{P}, q \in \tilde{\mathbb{C}}, \N\]\Nwith \(\tilde{\mathbb{C}}=\mathbb{C} \backslash E_n\) and \N\[\NE_n= \begin{cases}\{0\}, & n=0, \\\N\left\{z \in \mathbb{C}, z^n=1\right\}, & n \geq 1.\end{cases} \N\]\NNote that \N\[\N\lim _{q \longrightarrow 1} T_{\theta, q} f(x)=f^{\prime}(x)+\theta \frac{f(x)-f(-x)}{2 x}=T_\theta f(x),\N\]\Nwhere \(T_\theta\) is called Dunkl operator.
