    Let \(\Omega \in L^1(S^{m-1} \times S^{n-1})\) be satisfying \(\Omega(sx,ty)=\Omega(x,y)\) for \(s,t>0\) and \[ \int_{S^{m-1}}\Omega(u',\cdot)d\sigma(u') = \int_{S^{n-1}}\Omega(\cdot, v')d\sigma(v') =0. \] For suitable functions \(\varphi, \psi: {\mathbb R}^+ \to {\mathbb R}\), the multiple Marcinkiewicz integral operator is defined by \[ {\mathcal{M}}_{\varphi,\psi}(f)(x,y) =\left(\int_0^{\infty} \int_0^{\infty} |F_{s,t}^{\varphi,\psi}(x,y)|^2\frac{dsdt}{s^3t^3} \right)^{1/2}, \] where \[ F_{s,t}^{\varphi,\psi}(x,y) =\int\int_{|u|\leq{s}, |v|\leq{t}} \frac{\Omega(u',v')}{|u|^{m-1}|v|^{n-1}} f\big(x-\varphi(|u|)u', y-\psi(|v|)v'\big)dudv. \] For \(\alpha>0\), we say that \(\Omega\) satisfies the Grafakos-Stefanov-type size condition, denoted by \(\Omega \in {F_{\alpha}(S^{m-1} \times S^{n-1})}\), if \[ \sup_{(\xi',{\eta}')\in {S^{m-1} \times S^{n-1}}} \iint\limits_{{S^{m-1} \times S^{n-1}}} |\Omega(u',v')|\{G(\xi',\eta';u',v')\}^{\alpha} d\sigma(u')d\sigma(v') < \infty, \] where \[ G(\xi',\eta';u',v'):=\log\frac{1}{|\xi'\cdot {u'}|} + \log\frac{1}{|\eta'\cdot {v'}|} + \log\frac{1}{|\xi'\cdot {u'}|}\log\frac{1}{|\eta'\cdot {v'}|}. \] The Grafakos-Stefanov-type size condition for one-parameter case was introduced by \textit{L. Grafakos} and \textit{A. Stefanov} [Indiana Univ. Math. J. 47, No. 2, 455--469 (1998; Zbl 0913.42014)]. The main purpose of this paper is to show that \(\Omega \in {F_{\alpha}(S^{m-1} \times S^{n-1})}\) implies the \(L^p\)-boundedness of \({\mathcal{M}}_{\varphi,\psi}\) for \(\alpha>\frac{1}{2}\) and \(1+\frac{1}{2\alpha}<p<1+2\alpha\). The authors prove two results. The first one extends a result proved by \textit{G. Hu, S. Lu} and \textit{D. Yan} [Sci. China, Ser. A 46, No. 1, 75--82 (2003; Zbl 1217.42032)] to the operator \({\mathcal{M}}_{\varphi,\psi}\) when \(\varphi, \psi: {\mathbb R}^+ \to {\mathbb R}\) are \(C^2\) increasing convex functions with \(\varphi(0) =\psi(0)=0\). And the second improves a result obtained by \textit{A. Al-Salman} [Int. Math. Forum 2, No. 21--24, 1119--1128 (2007; Zbl 1142.42312)].
