Dunkl connections on \(\mathbb{C}^n\) are flat torsion free meromorphic connections \(\nabla\) on the tangent bundle \(T\mathbb{C}^n\) with simple poles at a finite collection of linear hyperplanes. They were introduced by \textit{W. Couwenberg} et al. [Publ. Math., Inst. Hautes Étud. Sci. 101, 69--161 (2005; Zbl 1083.14039)]. There it was also shown that for complex reflection arrangements the associated Dunkl connections preserve non-zero Hermitian forms, leading to new interesting families of Fubini-Study, flat, complex hyperbolic Kähler metrics on the arrangement complements.\N\NThis paper is concerned with Dunkl connections on \(\mathbb{C}^2\), in the more general case when the hyperplane arrangement (line arrangement, in this case) is not of reflection type. It is shown that most Dunkl connections with simple poles at 4 complex lines do not preserve any non-zero Hermitian form.\N\NThe proof is by contradiction: if the statements were false, then one could produce a section of the forgetful map from the moduli space of marked spherical tori with one conical point to the configuration space \(\mathcal{M}_{0,4}\) that would contradict the non-trivial topology of the space of spherical metrics established in [\textit{A. Eremenko} et al., Geom. Topol. 27, No. 9, 3619--3698 (2023; Zbl 1541.58011)].
