The paper under review is devoted to the study of compact gradient Einstein-type manifolds \((M^n, g)\) with non-empty boundary \(\Sigma\), which are generalizations of gradient Ricci solitons and static vacuum manifolds. Using Bochner identities, concircular field analysis, and Reilly/Chruciel-type integral formulas, the authors obtain several important rigidity and classification results. Key contributions include new characterizations of hemispheres and geodesic balls in simply connected space forms, as well as topological and area bounds for the boundary \(\Sigma\), particularly in dimensions \(n=3\) and \(n=5\).
