Based on previous work in [\textit{Z. Zhang} et al., Topology Appl. 305, Article ID 107873, 15 p. (2022; Zbl 1481.54023); Soft Comput. 23, No. 21, 10699--10708 (2019; Zbl 1436.54004)], the author investigates reflectivity and reflective hulls of full subcategories in the category \(\mathbf{CL}_0\) of \(T_0\) closure spaces and continuous maps, using the concepts of \(R\)-completion and \(Z\)-completion. It is shown that a full subcategory \(\mathbf{C}\) containing a pointed (i.e. the empty set is not closed) non-\( T_1\)-space is reflective in \(\mathbf{CL}_0\) iff it is the category of \(Z\)-convergence spaces for some subset system \(Z\) iff it is the category \(\mathbf{CS}_{Z_\mathbf{C}}\) of \(Z_\mathbf{C}\)-convergence spaces for the subset system \(Z_\mathbf{C}\) of \(\mathbf{C}\)-tapered sets. \(\mathbf{CS}_{Z_\mathbf{C}}\) is shown to be the reflective hull of any such \(\mathbf{C}\). Similarly, the reflective hulls of full subcategories in the category \(\mathbf{TOP}_0\) of \(T_0\) topological spaces, including at least one non-\( T_1\)-space, are described. As an application, it is proved that the reflective hull of the category of \(k\)-bounded sober spaces (i.e. every irreducible closed subset whose supremum exists is the closure of a unique point) is \(\mathbf{TOP}_0\) itself.
